Lloyds Bank British Business Excellence Awards announces finalists of Octopus Electric Vehicles Purpose Before Profit category

The Lloyds Bank British Business Excellence Awards are excited to announce the finalists in the Octopus Electric Vehicles Purpose Before Profit category. Celebrating the very best in British business innovation and creativity, the Purpose Before Profit category winner will be proudly announced at the awards ceremony on the 9th of November 2021, at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane.

Octopus Electric Vehicles (EV) are proud to be sponsoring the Purpose Before Profit Category, the company has also recently been announced as the Official Net Zero Partner of The Lloyds Bank British Business Excellence Awards. Octopus EV has gone above and beyond to ‘help UK businesses to bounce back greener’ and has recently been recognised by the Renewable Energy Association as ‘the company that’s done the most in the past year to advance UK renewables,’ which made them the perfect candidate to sponsor the Purpose Before Profit Category.

The Purpose Before Profit Category will be awarding two businesses as winners – a community winner and a corporate winner. The category aims to celebrate businesses of all sizes that have gone above and beyond to help the wider community and taken time away from day-to-day business operations to do so. Not only did the finalists within this category impress the judges by the commitment and passion that has been intertwined within the company’s values, but their values were upheld at a time of crisis.

In addition to this, each business had a particular focus on ESG and particularly sustainable practices to compel a commitment to climate change. The finalists within this category can be found below:
